Boulder's Climate Action Open House: Planning for our Energy Future

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and addressing climate change is a community priority – and needs to be a community effort. We (still) are asking for your help as we look back on what we’ve done so far and chart an approach that will be successful in the future. Everyone is welcome to attend.

At the meeting, attendees learned about why this work is important and why the entire community needs to take action now. Five stations were hosted by city staff to provide information and listen to feedback on:

• Background on Boulder's Climate and Energy Future work.
• What we've accomplished and what we've learned - An evaluation of CAP tax-funded programs and services to date.
  • Using the recently created Climate Action Plan Analysis Report from RMI.

• Shaping Boulder's Climate Action Commitment - Boulder's long- and short-term goals and how we measure progress.
• Where we're heading: The next generation of climate action and options for CAP-tax funded programs moving forward.
