Police to hold training exercises at Fairview High School

Fairview High School will be the site of several law enforcement training exercises next week, beginning on Monday, June 4 and running through Thursday, June 7. Fairview High School is located at 1515 Greenbriar Blvd.

Some of the exercises will take place in the school’s parking lot. Two scenarios will be held inside the school and role players will participate to make the trainings more realistic.

During the afternoons of Tuesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 7, residents who live near Fairview may hear loud noises or see smoke. Law enforcement and other emergency vehicles will be on-scene, and an Incident Command center will be set up nearby.

School is out for the summer, and there should be no impact on traffic.
