North Boulder Recreation Center extends Friday hours

The North Boulder Recreation Center (NBRC) will extend its Friday hours beginning Friday, June 8, to better accommodate patrons. The center will be open one hour later every Friday, until 7:30 p.m. instead of 6:30 p.m. (the pools, hot tub and sauna will be open until 7 p.m.).

The NBRC re-opened on Monday, June 4, following its annual maintenance shutdown, which included: installation of a gym divider to allow for multiple programs to run concurrently; carpet replacement; facility improvements; refinish of the gymnasium, racquetball court and multi-purpose room floors; tile and grout work in the locker rooms, hot tub and leisure pool; fire and safety alarm testing; paint touch-up; and extensive cleaning.
