Open Space & Mountain Parks

Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) will spot apply Milestone, an EPA Category III herbicide, to oxeye daisy and common teasel on the Kentucky property, located south of Baseline Road and west of Cherryvale Road.

OSMP will spot apply Milestone, Rodeo, and Escort, EPA Category III herbicides, to oxeye daisy and common teasel on the VanVleet and Fancher properties, located west of Cherryvale Road and between South Boulder Road and Marshall Road.

OSMP staff will spot/wick apply Milestone, an EPA Category lll herbicide, on Wednesday to chicory on the Dunn ll property near the Doudy Draw Trailhead, located south of Highway 170 and west of Highway 93.

OSMP staff will cut stump apply Garlon 4, an EPA Category III herbicide, to invasive Russian olive; wick Rodeo, an EPA Category lll herbicide to  5x5 feet of Yellow iris; and spot apply Plateau, an EPA Category lll herbicide to Russian knapweed on Wednesday and Thursday at the Anna Dunn/ Wonderland Lake properties, located west of Broadway, south of Utica Avenue and north of Popular Avenue.

OSMP will spot apply Rodeo and Milestone, EPA Category III herbicides, to oxeye daisy and cutleaf teasel in Coal Creek on the Tracy Collins and Jewel properties, located south of 128 and east and west of Highway 93.

Parks & Recreation Parks Operations will spot apply Nature's Avenger, a natural herbicide, to various weeds in the landscaped areas of Central Park and the landscaped beds of the municipal building and the main library.

Parks & Recreation Parks Operations will spot apply Rodeo, an EPA Category III herbicide, to thistle, bindweed and other broadleaf weeds, in the cracks of the sidewalks, parking lots and shrub beds around the south parking lot at East Boulder Community Center, located at 5660 Sioux Drive.

Parks & Recreation Parks Operations will spot apply Rodeo, an EPA Category III herbicide, to thistle, bindweed and other broadleaf weeds in the crusher fine beds around South Boulder Recreation Center and tennis courts, as well as the pea gravel beds around the outdoor exercise equipment at Harlow Platts Park, located at 1360 Gillaspie.
