Blotter - June 15 - 18, 2012Friday, June 15, 2012 Police responded to routine calls. Saturday, June 16, 2012 Police responded to a report of an Unattended Death in the 800 block of 20 St. around 6:07 a.m. A 61-year-old man with numerous medical problems was found dead inside his residence. Circumstances are not suspicious. The Boulder County Coroner’s Office also responded. 12-8029 A resident in the 1000 block of Utica Ave. called police after his racing bicycle was stolen from his unlocked vehicle, which was parked in the resident’s driveway. (12-8031). Two other (unlocked) vehicles were trespassed in the same area. A laptop belonging to the victim’s employer was stolen from one vehicle. It doesn’t appear that anything was taken from the second vehicle, although it was clear that someone had rummaged through it. 12-8034 & 12-8032 Police arrested a 40-year-old man in the 5500 block of 51st St. after investigating a report that a man was exposing himself. The suspect tried to elude the officer, and when caught, insisted that he had been wearing a g-string and hadn’t exposed himself. He faces charges of Indecent Exposure, Obstructing a Peace Officer and Possession of Marijuana. 12-8056 Sunday, June 17, 2012 A 25-year-old man was arrested on charges of Second Degree Assault & Domestic Violence after allegedly attempting to strangle his ex-girlfriend in the area of 1700 Broadway after a fight about a backpack. The incident took place around 8:20 a.m. 12-8071 (Monday, June 18, 2012) Four male juvenile suspects were allegedly involved in several vehicle trespasses in the 2800 block of Kalmia. Three suspects were arrested (15, 15 & 14 years old). The fourth suspect fled the area. Officers found a number of stolen items in possession of the juveniles; all three face charges of First Degree Trespassing, Possession of Burglary Tools & Criminal Conspiracy. 12-8098 Last Updated on Tuesday, 17 July 2012 06:49 |
