Robert Bockmann (Missing Person)
Robert Bockmann was 26 years old when he was last seen in Boulder, CO on April 18, 2003. Bockmann may have been suicidal at the time of his disappearance. His car was found at the South Boulder Creek Trailhead at Walker Ranch on April 19, 2003. Search and rescue teams searched the area, but Bockmann was never located. He is described as a white male, 5’10” tall, 170 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Timothy Case (Missing Person)
Timothy Darrell Case, age 52 (at the time), was reported missing by his family in May 2003, which was the last time they were in touch with him. He may use a wheelchair or cane and may go by the names of Timothy Mell or Timothy Miller. Case has hazel eyes and gray, or partially gray, hair. He is missing his front teeth; his other teeth are yellowed, and he has small hands. One of his legs, near his ankle, is larger and discolored, due to a blood clot. Fabian Del Rosario (Missing Person)
Twenty-year-old Fabian Del Rosario was last seen in Boulder, Colorado, on August 28, 1987, at 7:00 p.m. in the area of 30th Street and Colorado Avenue. He was driving a brown Datsun 280ZX and was supposed to pick-up his girlfriend when she got off work at 7:30 p.m. Del Rosario never showed up at his girlfriend’s work address and has not been seen or heard from since that time. During the early-morning hours of August 31, 1987, a police officer located Del Rosario’s car in the parking lot of Crossroads Mall near 30th Street and Walnut Avenue in Boulder. Douglas Meer (Missing Person)
Douglas Edward Meer was 25 years old when his family last heard from him in March 1982. He lived in Boulder and attended the University of Colorado. He drove his vehicle to Las Vegas and arrived there on March 27, 1982. He called his family on March 29, 1982 to tell them he'd run out of money and was coming back to Boulder. He never arrived. Meer has brown hair and brown eyes, an abdominal scar, and had severe acne on his back and face. His vehicle was later found in Mexico, just across the California border. Paul Moilanen (Homicide)
On August 13, 2007, detectives were paged to the 500 block of S. 46th St. to investigate the death of a transient. A local resident had found 53-year-old Paul Moilanan dead in a transient camp that had been established along a fence line to the west of the armory building in the 500 block of Table Mesa. An autopsy indicated that Moilanen had a depressed skull fracture. His death was later ruled a homicide. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sgt. Tom Trujillo at 303-441-3338. JonBenet Ramsey (Homicide)
JonBenet Ramsey was six years old when she was reported missing on December 26, 1996, after her family reported finding a ransom note inside their home in the 700 block of 15th Street. Her body was found in a basement room, and a later autopsy revealed that the cause of her death was strangulation. Sid Wells (Homicide)
Sid Wells was a 22-year-old journalism student at the University of Colorado when he was shot and killed in his Spanish Towers condominium on August 1, 1983. Wells was shot with a shotgun. His brother found him in their shared condo. Police believe the suspect is a man named Thayne Smika, Wells’ roommate at the time of the murder. Smika fled after the homicide and police have not been able to locate him since the mid 1980s. Recent information (developed in 2012) indicates that Smika may be living outside the United States. Police have obtained a warrant for Smika's arrest on a First Degree Murder charge. Anyone with information about the murder of Sid Wells is asked to contact Detective Sgt.
