Urban Forest Division | Transportation/Maintenance | Open Space & Mountain Parks Urban Forestry Division Urban Forestry will place pheromone packets in all the Scotch and Austrian pine trees on Pearl Street Mall; the pheromones will be up from July through October, 2012. The packets contain a mountain pine beetle anti-aggregation pheromone to prevent attack by mountain pine beetles. Transportation/Maintenance Transportation Maintenance will cut the foliage of Japanese knotweed and inject the cut stems with Rodeo, an EPA Category III herbicide, at east side of 4th Street between Linden and Kalmia. Open Space & Mountain Parks Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) will apply Plateau, an EPA Category III herbicide, to leafy spurge on approximately 1/100th of an acre at the Tippet/ Four Pines property, located at 17th and King. OSMP will apply Garlon 4, an EPA Category III herbicide, to cut stumps of bladder senna on the Wittemyer property, located north of Sunshine Canyon and west of Mount Sanitas Trail. OSMP will apply Garlon 4, an EPA Category III herbicide, to cut stumps of invasive trees on the T.H.P. property, located East of Highway 93 and South of South Boulder Creek. OSMP will cut-stump apply Garlon 4 and Rodeo, EPA Category III herbicides, to Russian olive on the Weiser property, located east of 75th Street and north of Valmont Road. OSMP staff will spot apply Rodeo, an EPA Category III herbicide, to purple loosestrife on the following properties:
