Sept. 10, 2012 - Open House on Boulder’s Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan update
Media Contacts: Open House on Boulder’s Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan update In the past few years, wildfires, drought and floods have caused devastating impacts in Colorado. The city maintains and updates a Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan (MHMP) to help ensure that the city and its residents are less vulnerable to natural hazards. The MHMP plan is being updated in 2012 and the city needs your input at a public open house from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Boulder Public Library Gallery Room, 1001 Arapahoe Ave. The meeting will be an opportunity to learn about the current MHMP, the 2012 update process and to provide feedback. In addition to the open house, a public feedback survey about the MHMP is available at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MHMPupdate. For more information about the MHMP, visit the project website or contact Kurt Bauer at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
