Sept. 19, 2012 - FirstBank branch in Boulder robbed

FirstBank branch in Boulder robbed

Police are looking for a white individual who may have been wearing a fake goatee and mustache in connection with a bank robbery that occurred at the branch located at 4770 Baseline Road.

At 1:11 p.m., the suspect entered the bank and approached a teller with a note that demanded cash. The suspect did not speak to the teller, who complied with the request. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as:

  • White individual
  • 5’7” to 5’8” tall
  • “Stocky” build, weighing between 220 lbs. – 230 lbs.
  • Light brown hair, which may have been tucked into the back of the suspect’s shirt
  • Goatee and mustache, which may have been fake
  • Gold aviator-style sunglasses
  • Wearing a long-sleeved, tan-colored shirt, dark pants and a tan baseball cap with raised white lettering and darker accent stripes

The case number is: P12-12898.

Boulder police are working closely with the FBI. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Heather Frey at 303.441.3369. Tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
