Blotter - Sept. 19, 2012

Police responding to an altercation between two groups of people made multiple arrests and took custody of three dogs after three people were bitten by the dogs. Charges included Resisting Arrest, Obstructing a Peace Officer, Unlawful Ownership of a Dangerous Dog, Brawling and Physical Harassment. The dogs were taken to the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. One of the dog-bite victim’s told police that a group of transients let their dogs loose after the two groups yelled at each other. This occurred in the 900 block of Arapahoe around 4:16 p.m. 12-12908
