Urban Forest Division | Transportation/Maintenance | Open Space & Mountain Parks Urban Forestry Division Urban Forestry has placed pheromone packets in all the Scotch and Austrian pine trees on Pearl Street Mall; the pheromones will be up from July through October. The packets contain a mountain pine beetle anti-aggregation pheromone to prevent attack by mountain pine beetles. Open Space & Mountain Parks Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) will apply Garlon 4 and Transline, EPA Category III herbicides, to cut stumps of invasive trees and crownvetch on the Abbey property, located west of View Point, north of Cragmore, and south of Blue Sage Court. OSMP staff will cut stump apply Garlon 4 and Rodeo, EPA Category III herbicides, to Russian olive on the Weiser property, located east of 75th Street and north of Valmont Road. OSMP staff will cut stump apply Garlon 4, an EPA Category III herbicide, to Russian olive and crack willow on the Colorado Open Lands property, located south of Valmont Road and east of 55th Street.
