League Descriptions

Division 1

Designed for those teams who wish to play for competitive reason in the highest level of competition offered. Players in this category should have a strong volleyball background with organized playing experience. Teams employ multiple offensive attacks and defensive strategies with consistent hitting and blocking. Most players have collegiate playing experience. Players with highly accomplished skill level. If your team would play in Upper Comp leagues in previous seasons.

Division 2

Designed for teams who wish to play quality volleyball. Players in this category have above average volleyball skills. Teams use power volleyball skills well - bump, set, spike. These teams use offensive and defensive strategies. Some players have collegiate playing experience and the rest having at least high school playing experience. Players with advanced intermediate to accomplished skill level. If your team would play in a Middle Comp league in previous seasons.

Division 3

Designed for teams who are less aggressive than the Division 2 level teams. These teams may have some inexperienced players, and generally hitting and defensive skills are weaker. These teams bump, set, and spike with use of basic offensive and defensive strategies. Most players have some high school experience. Players with advanced beginner to intermediate skill level. If your team would play in a Lower Comp league in previous seasons.

Division 4

Designed for teams who participate mostly for exercise and enjoyment. These teams attempt to bump, set, and spike. These teams use basic formations for offense and defense. Players mostly are at an advanced beginner level of skill with decent individual skills, but limited knowledge of team offense or defense. Most teams run a basic 4-2 offense, and get an attack (spike) about half the time. If your team would play in the A/BBB leagues in previous seasons.
