University Hill Located off The University of Colorado campus, University Hill is a business district featuring an eclectic mix of restaurants, shops and entertainment venues. The City of Boulder’s Downtown University Hill Management Division and Parking Services (DUHMD/PS) is responsible for parking operations, maintenance and enforcement and public space maintenance of the four-block University Hill General Improvement District (UHGID) business district. DUHMD/PS plays a significant role in the area's marketing and economic vitality. Several organizations and agencies collaborate to ensure The Hill remains a thriving business district and wonderful place to live. The Hill Alliance unites the retail, residential, commercial and professional interests of the historic University Hill area, for the purpose of furthering the growth, development and economic well-being of the area through a cooperative effort. The University of Colorado Student Union funds a Hill Liaison representative position and participates in events and programs. The City of Boulder and the University of Colorado jointly fund a full-time University Liaison responsible for the development and implementation of programs to support and assist CU students living in University Hill and other areas off campus. The City of Boulder Police have a Police Annex at 1310 College. The University Hill Neighborhood Association is a group of Boulder residents in the adjacent residential community working together for a safe, clean, peaceful, and diverse neighborhood. The City of Boulder funds a full-time Neighborhood Services Coordinator who assists neighborhood groups with forming and maintaining associations, connecting with city staff and programs, participating in public processes, and promoting overall neighborhood livability. University Hill hosts the Uni-Hill 'round the Hill 2k & Kid's 1k, Graffiti - ordinance information and online reporting.
