Colorado Avenue Bicycle Lanes and Sidewalks Project




 

This project,  completed in the fall of 2008, installed on-street bicycle lanes, sidewalks, and landscaping in areas between the sidewalk and street curb on both sides of Colorado Avenue from 28th to 30th streets. The medians were also reconstructed as part of this project. This project was initially identified in the Boulder Transportation Master Plan (TMP).

Improvements to the west side of 28th Street and College Avenue underpass and an addition of a new transit stop on southbound 28th Street were also completed to increase safety and access in the area.
