Child Care Subsidies
With funding from the City of Boulder and City of Longmont, the Child Care Subsidies and Referrals (CCSR) Program, in partnership with the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) provides assistance in paying for child care to low income families.
CCCAP
The first step in obtaining assistance is applying with the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP), a statewide program. Visit www.BoulderCountyChildCare.org for information on program administration within Boulder County.
GAP
The next step is applying for the GAP program. This program pays child care providers the difference between the CCCAP rate of pay and the average market rate for child care is in this area. These additional funds expand the number of potential provider one can choose from when selecting child care. GAP is only available to those who have qualified for CCCAP and also live in the City of Boulder or Longmont.
CLIFF
For those families who do not qualify for CCCAP and GAP, a third program called CLIFF is available. CLIFF has different income and eligibility requirements. CLIFF is only available to those who DO NOT qualify for CCCAP/GAP and also live in the City of Boulder. GAP and CLIFF benefits are paid through the Child Care Subsidy and Referrals Program.
