Grants Available Through the Youth Opportunities Program

Individual Fund

  • City of Boulder resident youth can apply for up to $200 to help pay for a cultural, educational, or recreational activity in Colorado
  • If funded, youth complete four hours of community service for every $50 they receive

Group Activities Fund

  • Groups of at least ten City of Boulder residents can apply for up to $3,000 to help pay for a cultural, educational, or recreational activity in Colorado
  • Application Deadline: the 15th of each month

Volunteer Service Project Fund

  • City of Boulder resident youth may apply for funds to purchase materials needed to do a local community service project
  • Application Deadline: the 15th of each month

Annual Grants Fund

  • Grants from $3,000 - $15,000 are available
  • Larger grants to help provide cultural, educational, or recreational activities in Colorado
  • Two-year grants are available
  • Funds for one-year grants must be spent between September 1, 2009- August 31, 2010, and for two-year grants between September 1, 2009 - August 31, 2011
  • Grant proposals are due March 2, 2009

    Part 2 doc (you can save Part 2 to your computer as a word document to fill out the ones you need and incorporate them in your proposal)
