Session 6: GO Walk and Bike - Two Public Meetings
First Meeting: Presented Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002
The session objectives were to:

- Characterize Boulder's bicycle and pedestrian history
- Highlight achievements in making Boulder more bike and pedestrian friendly
- Explain Boulder's financial commitment to support bicycle and pedestrian modes
- Offer the opportunity to comment on programs, policies and facility improvements
- Outline future plans to increase bicycle and pedestrian mode share.
Over 40 people attended the public meeting. Attendees identified a list of Top Bicycle and Pedestrian Issues and provided feedback to identify systematic Barriers to Bicycling/ Walking in Boulder.
Second Meeting: Presented Wednesday, May 7, 2003

The session objectives were to:

- Present proposed Action Strategies to incorporate into a revised draft of the bicycle and pedestrian system plan components of the Transportation Master Plan Update.
- Solicit input on proposed map of existing and proposed bicycle facilities.
- Offer an overview of the virtual TMP and next steps.
