Fireworks Regulations

Within the Boulder city limits, all fireworks are prohibited, including sparklers, except for professional displays that have obtained a city permit. Fireworks are also illegal in Boulder Mountain Parks and on city and county open space lands. Penalties include fines, possible arson charges and liability for property and personal injury damages. For your safety, the fire department encourages you to attend only professional fireworks displays.

Use or storage of fireworks of any type is prohibited.
