Starting, Stopping or Transferring Water Accounts

  • Water Hookup
    Many residents receive water services from the City of Boulder's Department of Public Works.  If you are one of these residents, and would like to establish, transfer or disconnect service, please contact the Utility Billing Office at 303-441-3260.
  • Charges
    A new account will be set up for properties that are sold and a final reading of the water meter should be requested by the title company handling the transaction.  There is a minimal fee for the final meter reading.
