Food Tax Rebate Program

Since the passage of a voter initiative in 1967, the City of Boulder has operated a program that provides refunds of estimated sales tax on the purchase of food to qualifying low income families, seniors and disabled persons.

The application period for 2009 ended June 30, 2009 and no further applications or documentation can be accepted.

The application period for 2010 will begin on March 1, 2010.

All 2009 applicants will receive a 2010 application in the mail.
Updated information on the 2010 rebate program will be posted here in February 2010.
