CYFHHS Family Resource Schools Lights on Afterschool

On Thursday, October 2, 2008, hundreds of thousands of children across America joined parents, educators, and community and business leaders to rally in support of the afterschool programs that keep kids safe, inspire academic achievement and help working families.
The City of Boulder, the Boulder Valley School District and the Boulder Valley Afterschool Network hosted an event at Pearl Street Mall showcasing the talent and skills gained by dozens of children through after-school programs including music, science experiments, theater, art and more. 2009 Lights On After School For background on LOAS go to http://www.afterschoolalliance.org/.
