Advisory Committees

Community Development Advisory Committee

The Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) serves as a liaison between the citizens of Boulder and Boulder City government to ensure active public participation in the development, implementation and evaluation of annual Community Development Block Grant proposals.  Members are appointed to the CDAC by the city manager to serve three-year terms.

It is the goal of the city to select CDAC members who represent the economic, racial, and age diversity of Boulder.  Community members who directly benefit from the grant, as well as those with experience in human services, finance, and construction, are encouraged to apply for appointment to the committee.

Home Ownership Committee

The Home Ownership Committee represents the broad public interest for the Division of Housing's homeownership programs.   There are five members appointed by the Director of Housing drawn from five different catagories:

  • affordable housing provider or developer
  • mortgage lender
  • Realtor®
  • owner of a permanently affordable home
  • community at-large.

 The committee provides general direction and advice to city staff on the design and administration of homeownership programs, and makes recommendations about granting exceptions to homeownership policies.

Housing Technical Review Group

The Housing Technical Review Group (TRG) is a five-member advisory board appointed by the city manager to serve three-year terms.  The TRG evaluates proposals submitted to the Housing Fund Program and advises staff in the development of affordable housing recommendations.  The Housing Fund Program is a competition for funds for affordable housing.

Desired TRG membership includes Realtors®, lenders, developers/contractors, attorneys and members-at-large.
