Solar Rebate and Grant Programs

City Council approved PDF filesolar rebate ordinance that went into effect on December 14, 2006. This solar rebate ordinance created a renewable energy fund, where 35% of this fund  is dedicated to rebates on sales tax on solar systems installed in the City of Boulder and 65% of this fund is dedicated for the purpose of providing financial assistance through grants toward installation of photovoltaic (PV) or solar thermal systems on housing for low to moderate income persons and on the facilities of site based non-profit entities operating in Boulder.
