Juvenile Firesetter Program

We use the national FEMA model for this program. Evaluations and risk assessments are conducted for parents and children involved in fire incidents in the community. Children found to be at low risk of future fire setting are given educational classes, while children and their familes who are found to be at moderate or high levels of future firesetting are referred to mental health professionals for treatment.
