Community and City Respond to Hate Motivated IncidentsAs recommended by the City of Boulder's Human Relations Commission (HRC) at its June 20, 2005 meeting, the information contained on these Web pages confirms the citys commitment to promoting goodwill and mutual respect among its various communities and condemns racism, bigotry, harassment and discrimination. This recommendation was developed by the HRC after renewed hate-motivated incidents occurred in Boulder in the late spring, early summer. The city has committed to developing mechanisms that ensure rapid response to these incidents as well as ongoing effective engagement with community groups. |
