Community Cleanup Day 2008 - Thank You!

The Boulder City Improvement Association II (BCIA 2) and the City of Boulder would like to thank all the volunteers who participated in the sixth annual Community Cleanup Day! Your help was greatly appreciated.

ccup19.gifApproximately 355 people participated by pulling weeds, planting flowers and picking up trash/recyclables in many areas around the city.

As a result, about 7 cubic yards of trash were picked up and 4 yards of organics and other material were recycled. In addition, countless weeds were pulled at various parks and trails around town. Another 170 volunteers participated in the Boulder Creek Cleanup where 70 30-gallon bags of trash were picked up.

View more pictures from the event and see a complete list of all volunteers who participated.
