Water Quality Planning

 

The Water Quality Planning Program represents the Utilities Division and WQES in regional planning involving the water quality of Boulder Creek and South Platte River watershedswater_resource_planning.gif and the city's drinking water sources.

City of Boulder water management can produce regional water quality effects.  Coordination between city services and work efforts is necessary to address water quality issues. The Water Quality Planning Program facilitates planning efforts to encourage the protection of groundwater, surface water and drinking water. The Water Quality Planner coordinates planning activities including master planning,project design and conceptual review and education and training.
