Kids' Fishing Pond

kids_fishing-web.jpgEvert Pierson Memorial Kids' Fishing Ponds are located at 6th St. and Canyon Blvd. along the Boulder Creek Path.

The ponds are old University of Colorado gravel pits that were converted into children's ponds in 1949 by the Boulder Fish and Game Club. Ponds are managed by the City of Boulder's Parks and Recreation Department.

Fish are stocked and maintained by the Boulder Fish and Game Club. 3,000 fish are stocked each year from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The ponds are for use by children ages 6 to 12. (Children under 6 may fish also.)

Limit is three per day. No rafting or wading. Bring your own fishing pole and bait. No fly fishing. All state laws apply. Have fun!
