Dushanbe, Tajikistan

Tajikistan, a former Soviet Republic, is located in southern central Asia, north of Afghanistan. Their capital city, Dushanbe, gave us the unique Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse that stands at 1770 13th Street.

Numerous exchanges and humanitarian aid shipments have helped to promote people-to-people friendship and understanding. Boulder Community Hospital has provided Dushanbe with much needed medical supplies and services.
