Dena Belzer: Her publications include Visioning the Future: Strategies for Community Change published by HUD, 1994, (contributing author); Transit Oriented Development: From Rhetoric to Reality, published by the Great American Station Foundation and the Brookings Institution Center on Urban & Metropolitan Policy, June 2002; and Countering Sprawl with Transit Oriented Development, in Issues in Science and Technology, National Academy of Sciences, fall 2002. She is also a contributing author to The New Transit Town, Best Practices in Transit-Oriented Development, published by Island Press in 2004 and led the research team that wrote Hidden Plain Sight: Capturing the Demand for Housing Near Transit, published by the Center for Transit Oriented Development in 2004.
