Trail Access for People with Disabilities

The City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) department is continuing to work to better meet the needs of people with disabilities. Part of this process has been to solicit input on issues for people with disabilities as well as specific suggestions about trails and facilities. We are interested in your thoughts about accessible trails, facilities and programming on the city's OSMP lands.

Following are the documents that can be found through this Web site:

An overview of this project and its focus and goals can be found in "Project Overview;"
A brief summary of all OSMP trails and their potential for becoming accessible, to some degree, for wheelchair use can be found in " Trails Accessibility Database (27.95 Kb);”
Factors that we believe make a trail desirable for wheelchair use or use by people with mobility impairments can be viewed in "Trail Desirability Factors;"
Categorized comments, as of June 15th, 2006, are listed in " Public Input Summary (52.89 Kb)."
