Construction Plan Update

Construction is underway and proceeding smoothly. The first phase of the bike park construction is anticipated to be complete by early 2011.

A groundbreaking ceremony and bike fest, including cyclocross races, was held Oct. 17, 2009. See photos

The 132-acre Valmont City Park is located on the intersection of Airport and Valmont Roads.

The Valmont Park Advisory Group (VPAG)
Three public open houses.
Community survey to evaluate and provide feedback on draft alternatives
Monthly updates to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (PRAB).
