Transportation Advisory Board (TAB)

About the Board

The Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) consists of five members appointed by City Council, each to five-year terms. TAB generally meets on the second Monday (and the fourth Monday on an as-needed basis) of each month at 6 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, 1777 Broadway. What does the TAB do?

  • Advises City Council, Planning Board and city staff on transportation issues
  • Reviews transportation community environmental assessments
  • Reviews plans for capital improvements
  • Reviews and recommends changes to the Transportation Master Plan
  • Works with neighborhood groups, residents and staff on traffic mitigation issues
