Tours of the City of Boulder's 75th Street Wastewater Treatment Facility provide information that helps develop an understanding that allows all of us to better protect our local watershed.

Tours are free and available Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Two weeks advance notice is requested.

General Information

• Minimum tour age is 11 years old (4th grade).
• All youth 18 years of age and younger must have accompanying chaperones at the following ratio:
  • Grades 4-5: 1 chaperone for every 5 youths
  • Grades 6-8: 1 chaperone for every 8 youths
  • Grades 9-12: 1 chaperone for every 10 youths
• Tours can be tailored to:
  • School Groups
  • Civic Groups
  • Professional Organizations
• Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis
• Two weeks advance scheduling required
• A full tour will take approximately two hours and include a half hour presentation followed by a walking tour. Tours require a minimum of one hour.
• Tours can accommodate 20 visitors per available Boulder Wastewater tour guide
• Tour days and times may vary based on staff availability and priorities
