Celebrating Earth Day

This Earth Day, the City of Boulder invites community members to come together through storytelling, creativity and connection as we reflect on our shared climate future.

Earth Day Storytelling Event
Date: Sunday, April 26
Location: eTown Hall, 1535 Spruce St.
Time: Doors open at 4:30 p.m. | Program runs from 5 to 7 pm.

The event is free and open to the public.

Food Tax Rebate Program

Each year, the city provides rebates to help compensate residents with lower incomes for the city sales tax they pay on food. Applications will be accepted between April 15 and June 30, 2026.


Drought Watch

Due to record hot and dry weather, the city entered a Drought Watch on April 1 and is asking for voluntary reductions in water use.

Wildfire Resilience Assistance Program

The city's Wildfire Resilience Assistance Program provides funding to eligible property owners to complete home hardening and vegetation management work on their properties. Program applications are now open.
