Boulder Fire Chief

Michael Calderazzo is the fire chief for the City of Boulder and oversees Boulder Fire-Rescue. Calderazzo became a firefighter in 1992.

In addition to serving as Boulder’s deputy chief of operations and El Paso’s assistant fire chief, he served as a division logistics chief, fire lieutenant, and a fire suppression technician. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Public Administration.
